Sunset Cliffs is a community in the Point Loma region of San Diego, California. It is known for the treacherous cliffs overlooking the ocean. Residents enjoy the stunning sunset and water views.

Sunset Cliffs is also bordered by Ocean Beach, Santa Barbara Street, a popular park, and Catalina Boulevard. Sunset Cliffs Boulevard is the main street and most of the neighborhood is residential with a small commercial strip at the end of this road.

The San Diego Unified School District is the second largest in the state. Students in this community may attend facilities like Point Loma High School as well as highly ranked Sunset View Elementary School and Dana Middle School. There are hundreds of private institutions in the city and Warren-Walker School is within this community. Public universities include the University of California (UCSD) and San Diego State University (SDSU) as well as the San Diego Community College District.

Sunset Cliffs Natural Park offers 68 acres of land that runs the length of the land between the main street and the ocean. It has amazing views of the coastline and is popular with surfers and ocean-gazers. Golf enthusiasts have several venues in the city including The Loma Club which features an A. G. Spaulding nine-hole course as well as tournaments and lessons. There are many shopping venues in this area including Point Loma Plaza, Rosecrans Shopping Center, and the West Point Loma Plaza Center.
